The single sounds a bit like Thursday's Child.

Space Waltz from NZ, early 70s, and perhaps more than a little influenced by Mr Bowie.

    No live shows

In it, Visconti reveals that the singer is insistent there won't be any future live shows.

When asked if there was any talk in the studio with the band of how the tracks would sound live, Visconti replied: "He’s fairly adamant he’s never gonna perform live again… One of the guys would say, 'Boy, how are we gonna do all this live?' and David said, 'We’re not'. He made a point of saying that all the time."

:) Bowie is amazing. I LOVED the last album (can't believe it was 10 years ago) - so psyched for this! :) :) :)

The entire album is up and streaming for free on iTunes.

    It's pretty fantastic.

It's pretty damn great. Now the only question is whether or not the bonus tracks are enough up to snuff to be worth the deluxe edition

David Bowie and Mick Jagger were notorious for having gay sex with each other. An interesting little rock n roll tidbit I've heard many times before....

On that note here is one of my fav Bowie songs. Look forward to listening to some of the new songs on the new album.

So I listened to the new album and, uhm, I find it quite mediocre. There's a couple of jewels in there, but not what I expected. I'll give it a chance to see if it grows on me.
