SWRPF Archive Dawn of a New Threat (100 yrs after the Yuuzhan Vong)

Synopsis:
It is a time of peace for the New Republic. It has been a century since the Yuuzhan Vong were defeated and the Jedi have once again risen to the level of protectors of peace and justice in the galaxy. The Unknown Regions have been mapped. The Imperial Remnant and New Republic have fully merged and Coruscant has been left for dead. The New Republic is now based solely on Chandrilla, where they are experiencing an economic boom. But, all is not well within the galaxy. On the world of Iridonia. In a forgotten part of the galaxy. Evil has begun to rise again. The Sith have manipulated the Kaminoans and are building an army. Open war will soon be upon the galaxy, whether it seeks it or not.

Rules:

1) No Superweapons at all. Superweapons lead to god-moding and other, uh, not-so-good stuff. It's simpler without Superweapons.

2) Absolutely NO god-moding. Even people in make-believe RPGs are mortal. Keep it real.

3) No controlling other people's characters. People have their own lives to live outside TFN and don't like coming back and finding someone has completely taken over their character. Special permission may be obtained, like if someone is going to be gone and would like someone to be their character during their absence.

4) Limited OOC posting. If you want to socialize, a social thread may be created for this RPG. Acceptable OOC is OOC pertaining to the game.

5) Have fun. For Heaven's sake, why join an RPG if not for fun?

6) No flaming.

Bio: Kiira was born on Chandrilla, and moved not long after she was born, to Astor, in the "unknown" regions. Her family owns the planet because when they found it, it was unpopulated. So her entire extended family oversees sectors of the planet and there is now a population of about 5 billion with all the people that have moved there, seeking a more secluded life from the bumpy New Republic. Astor is a planet much like our Earth. Only it is bigger. She was trained as a Force User her whole life, and now she has come back to the New Republics capitol of Chandrilla to help with the immenent war.

A descendant of one of the developers of Alpha Red, he was offered a position as a Chiss oracle, but instead chose to study under Ben Skywalker at the Jedi Academy and learn the ways of the Chiss' allies. He completed his entry-level training, and spent much of the rest of his time studying various aspects and uses of the Force, such as the White Current, Ta-Ree, and Dathomiri approaches. He also spent much of his time mastering many of the Old Jedi Order's and ancient Sith fighting techniques. He has begun training to enter the rank of master.

Bio:
Moshu was born on Endor, but he soon grew tired of the boring life there, and stowed away on the first ship he could get on. He landed on Chandrilla, and stole his X-wing, renaming it the "Crystal Death". He flew to Iridonia, and discovered he was strong in the force. He turned to the dark side right away, and now is a sith knight.

 

OOC: Yay! Another Sith! Interesting, a Sith Ewok. Oh well, reminds me of Lieutenant Kettch, my favorite character in Wraith Squadron! Just kidding! Anywaysy, correct me if I'm wrong, but we should have 3 Sith, 2 Rogues(Neither), and 1 Jedi. And yes, change it to SSD and all shall be well.

IC: Feylis was in a training room, practicing a complex lightsaber move. She cursed as she did it wrong. Again. Feylis had to actually work to maintain an athletic and physical edge, while she managed telekinesis with relative ease. She would try it again, and get it perfect.

Ok, I'll have a regular SSD then. BTW, I posted as neither because I believe in no sides of the Force like Vergere. So I don't know if I'm technically a Rogue.

IC:The Ice Dragon left the hangar of the Starry Knight. Kiira started her ship towards Chandrilla, and was moving quickly away from her flagship, which was in orbit over the capitol of the New Republic. She hoped she would be able to help the Galaxy in this time of imminent war.

IC: Feylis smiled confidently as she executed it perfectly. She wiped the sweat off her brow, then tried it again. Again, she did it perfect. She smiled. She liked being perfect.

 

Grand Admiral Justin Kuan was the commander of the Demonstrators of Peace.

The group of made up of old Imperial officers that wanted to fight the New Republic.

Kuan was just a Admiral when he defected to his own faction.

He started to recuit people and had his parents build him this great ship.

He ended up getting a entire Armada of ships, as commanders of ships Defected to his side.

He had the ISD II's move forward in and formation the made it look like they where wings with the SSD in the middle.

IC:Unic was in the NR capital sipping caf in a small cafe. On a small stage there was a proformace artice doing a piece on how war is dumb.

 

Moshu is bored. He hops in the "Crystal Death", and flies off into space, heading for Chandrilla.

 

Brins was at the footslopes of the tallest mountain on Iridonia. Here the great Sith of the past, the ones who carved the way for the New Sith, had built a grand monestary to the Sith. A huge dwelling, under the great mountain. But it had been abandoned in the years, and now no one knew the passwords to enter. For you see, the door is a riddle. A terribly easy riddle at that, but it has been so long that the Zabrak had forgotten how to decipher the ancient Sith runes. But this is of no matter to an ancient Sith lord and soon Brins was inside.

Chandrilla's Defense Fleet assembled formation in orbit.

The Mon Cal Destroyer Retribution glided into place in the head of the NR Republics Navy as flagship.

X-J Wings,K-Wings,and other new version fighters scrambled into positions in a practice drill.

The Chandrilla Defense Fleet in all its illustrious glory was actually the Navy itself preparing to deploy to the far reaches of the NR terriatorys.

1,200 mighty Warships and countless fighters made up the Repulbics military backbone.

Admiral Ayga Sot stood on the bridge of the Retribution nodding in satisfaction.

George was joined the NR at age 17, he never fought the Vong, but he heard stories. Being a descendent of Thawn through blood, made George think that the NR is evil, and corrupt. Bio: In the age of the great war 100 years ago, a lone fleet of imperial ships stashed thier ships near a remote plannet near the outer ring. The crew of these ships inhabited this unkown plannet for many years. The young president of this plannet grew up hearing tales from the older members that the fleet laid in lockdown not far from where they were. So after reciving the presidency, he mobilized his peoples to follow him into the ways of the past empire, hoping to find others like him in the galaxy. His command ship took the only thing worth taking from the plannet with them, its plannetary shields. Taking lost of time and all the planets resources, the project was finnaly completed.
