The third arc in the DotJ series named Force Wars is "announced" discuss I guess.

P.S. Where did this news come from I looked on multiple sources about it and only got the name of the arc.

You just need to theatrically wave your hand in front of the door and it'll open automagically. Works for me about half the time.

I remember that two websites said "Force Wars" takes place 100 years after "The Prisoner of Bogan". Randy posted on http://boards.theforce.net/threads/...over-the-star-wars-announced.50009484/page-20 that "Force Wars" actually takes place 1 year after "The Prisoner of Bogan".

A whole war in only five issues of a comic? Little short (maybe we will get another novel).

Bonus points if the war itself takes place almost entirely off-page.

Why else do you think it's set a year later? When Issue #1 rolls around, the war'll probably be over already. :p

And if the story is paced in such a way that the war is implied to last a week, tops.

I would hope a ten year war that is the first formal conflict between the dark and the light, and ends with the founding of the Jedi Order as the Republic knows it wouldn't be relegated to a five issue story arc.

This doesn't make much sense because im seeing the recant arc leading up to the Infinite Empire invading, i think we should get an entire arc of that invasion before the force wars.

StarWarsFan91 It's likely the Rakatan invading may in some part influence the Force Wars. I wonder if the Jedi Order in some how aids the Rakatan civil war? Wook has FW in 25,793-25783 BBY and the civil war 30,000-25,200 BBY.

This is actually rather reminiscent of the Rakata attacking Korriban and King Adas chasing them off, but the technology the Rakata left behind having lasting effects on Sith culture. Here, we have the reverse, with a Rakata attack on Tython, but which will have lasting effects by founding the Jedi Order.

So is there an actual article detailing this announcement/confirmation?

If true, it seems weird to do Force Wars first, unless the Rakata invasion comes during the middle of the Force Wars and/or sparks the Force Wars. Plus, I hope it isn't just a 5 issue Force Wars. I really want them to have the Force Wars be the driving conflict for the series, maybe even till it's end, with the dawning the Jedi as the final arc. If they are able to shrink the war down to a smaller size of issues that works well, I would like to see the Ravijari conflict as well.

So we know we have Dark Horse till the end of 2014 now. That's about 2 more arcs, maybe 3 if Jan and John can live with only a 2 or 3 month break, they could push out till we reach uncharted territory on if Dark Horse keeps the license or not.

credar Besides the previous poster's claim of it being announced at WonderCon, the only other thing I see mentioning Force Wars being an arc is Wook and they don't have any source or even any pages for it except a bunch of redlinks saying "Force Wars." I guess the latest we might get an update is once Prisoner of Bogan #5 rolls out at the end of next month.

Okay, that still doesn't say anything about how long the arc is, or if it will be published immediately right after Bogan. Safest bet is still just to wait until the twenty-second.
