I've read some of the script. I'm in even more of a rush. I'm interested to see when TTG is planning to see it though. So far the only thing I've ever heard her say about SW is how crap TPM is. Not that I disagree ofcourse.

 

I waited 17 years for TPM and it was she-ite. I can wait a few days for this one.

IT would be ok if the hype supported a good storyline. But it was... a bit... gay really.

Only in that is one reason people thought it was sh!te, because like so many other things, it didn't live up to expectation and promise. But we know that already...

Over a number of viewings of TPM, he isn't so bad as he used to be. Annoying git still yes, but maybe I've just mellowed on it slightly. Though at least he's hardly in AotC...

Still the soundtrack was excellent and certainly better than the one for attack of the clones

 

Huh? I thought the AOTC soundtrack sounded great!

 

Hmmmm, I could swear that I've heard Anakin/Amidala's love theme in a thousand other John Willias scoe, although track 3 whatever that is is pretty cool (the one with the electric guitar)

AotC soundtrack is better IMO. Apart from Duel of the Fates, nothing really grabbed me in TPM score...

John Williams' scores all sound the same. Listen to Star Wars.. then listen to Indiana Jones... then listen to Harry Potter. The same recurring theme in each one. Just variations on the original. Since I thought this my opinion of John Williams has taken a nose-dive.

 

Having listened to the classic Trilogy soundtracks a lot, there isn't much similarity between the three imo...

However, I do take your point. Maybe not just me with a small feeling of deja vu listening to some of the AotC music...

 

I don't really care about similarities between the SW soundtracks. They could just as easily use exactly the same music from one to the other for all I care. It's the fact the grey-one recicles everything into every other project. Listen to HP or Jenos Idanian and you'll hear the same music in them too! Really annoys me
