Yeah, I was there, although I didn't see too much of the con.

I was in the dealer's/exhibitor's room briefly early on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, I saw Mary Franklin present the Episode III presentation. Steve Sansweet had gotten sick and was unable to travel. I think Mary did a superb job taking over for him. Then, I was in the front row of the costume contest, taping Luke's show for him. That was it as far as the actual convention goes.

then we were close without touching....
I was in the back row of the costume contest...standing...

and was supposed to escort Mary Franklin as part of the 501st escort...but got stuck at my "post" - checking badges at entrance B....since the other guy that was doing badge check with me was "off duty" at noon....I had to man the entrance myself and could not get away...
