Count me in too. I should most certainly be able to make it. Exalted-One, I could give you ride up to the cookout. I would just need directions to your place.

Sounds interesting, but... Do they allow you to bring your own canoe? And what are the weight limitations of their canoes? Are they really canoes, or are they row boats? (I don't think I've ever seen an aluminum canoe...) I don't mean to bombard you with questions, but I think we'd all like to know so we know what to expect better.

Yes you can use your own canoe, Yes they are real canoes, and yes they are aluminum. it's been a few years, but I've been on a few canoe trips with whitewater.

bring waterproof sunscreen and bathing suits. also wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet and nasty.

My family has property outside of New Trenton Indiana. if you want I can negotiate for a place to hang out after the boat trip.

just remember it is a campsite, so plan on roughing it.

    thoughts?

I've got to disappoint and say we can't go. Work is starting to get busy, and they're making work for Saturdays mandatory. That leaves only Sunday to get the usual stuff done that has to get done.

I'm in with you on the trip. I think trip No.9 I've done a few times with the Scouts back in the day. The rapids they speak of aren't too bad, but it's more fun to lay out in the rubber tubes than canoe IMO, also less work, ha,ha. Are we going to try to meet some where and caravan there from here or just meet there? I've been there, but it's been quite a while, so directions would be helpful, or at least a link. Anyway, should be fun.
