Way to blast a post without giving your own opinion that can be critiqued.

Why would I waste my time. It's a Marvel fanboy load of ****, and nobody respects that around here.

Here's the top 500 reasons why I wouldn't waste my time with a longer response to your drivel, ranked.

    1. Never mind.

They're both, with Marvel leading, milking the genre dry.

Of the hoard of superhero movies of the last decade or so only 3 or 4 are not yawn inducing medication replacements.

As far as comic-books go I am passed that age.

Superman is far from outdated. Being a hero just because it's the right thing to do isn't a concept that's outdated, but rather a sign of how self-interested people can be. As to writing a good movie, that wasn't the problem. The Salkinds comedic point of view was part of the problem and not having someone who would approach the material with the same passion that Donner and Singer did, is what hurt the third film. The fourth film had a decent plot, but was saddled with a small budget and a few questionable ideas. The fifth film wasn't bad at all, just that it was in need of more action and was not what audiences were expecting. The recent film was fairly good and the next will be better with a stronger writer at the helm.

I want to see a movie where Batman faces off against Spider-Man and Spidey gets his butt kicked.
