Amph DC's World War III question (spoilers- you have been warned)

For those of you who read World War III, what exactly happened at the very end? Black Adam was trying to figure out the word Captain Marvel set to bring the lighting... the last thing he said was "Eternity", and then he's no longer in view... was that the word? Did it transport him somewhere, or did he just begin blending in with the crowd, or what?

Also, was that supposed to be Atom Smasher who caught Adam in mid-air when he was falling? I know they had the same bracer, but I thought it might be one of the Egyptian gods or something... I wasn't quite sure...
