De ce nu s-a putut vindeca Darth Vader?

Here's a question. De ce in 20 de ani, Vader nu a putut sa-si vindece corpul ca sa nu mai fie dependent de costum? Jedi au healing trances nu?

Probabil e doar una din neconcordantele dintre cele doua trilogii (nu-mi amintesc sa existe healing trance in trilogia veche).
Oricum, prin aceasta metoda cred ca poti grabi doar vindecarea organismului. Ma indoiesc ca Vader sau orice alt Jedi ar fi putut sa-si recreeze organele complet distruse (plamanii) sau lipsa (membrele), in asa fel incat sa nu mai fie dependent de costum.

I always thought it was because healing trances (at least in my mind) require serenity and such. The Dark Side means hate is the only thing that fuels you. Hate gives you power and fires the blood, but hate is a ever roaring inferno that blocks the needed concentration. The required concentration is like whispering in middle of a huge bombardment and actually expecting the guy ten feet away to hear what the hell you are saying.

Ok, chiar daca nu putea sa-si recupereze missing limbs si alte d-astea, nu putea macar sa-si vindece corpul pe interior astfel incat sa nu mai aiba nevoie de costumul ala? Nu mai stiu unde am citit ca Darth Vader de fapt asta voia si chiar incerca prin meditation and stuff. Dar nu mai stiu unde am citit... cred ca era novelization la Empire Strikes Back dar nu sunt sigura.

However, Garak brings up a good point. Maybe it's simply not in the nature of the Dark Side to regenerate. If the light side is all about creation and conservation, the dark side in my mind is all about destruction and death. Pentru ca reprezinta cele doua forte fundamentale at work in the universe. Not good and evil, but rather creation and destruction. What goes up, must come down.

However, I think you're underestimating hate. It is far more powerful a motivator than love. How else do you explain road rage?

Dar Palpatine i-a spus lui Anakin ca a fost odata Darth Plaguies era in stare sa cuceareasca moartea, bla bla bla. So if sith can overcome death, dupa cum a zis Palpatine si dupa cum chiar Palpatine a demonstrat prin propria-i longevitate... then if they focus enough power they should be able to heal themselves, providded of course they hate enough. Si avand in vedere ca Anakin era sucarit doar ca Dooku i-a luat o mana, iti dai seama ce sentimente avea fata de Obi Wan.

Imi aduc si eu aminte ca am citit ceva referitor la asta, dar sigur nu era in TESB. Nu stiu daca nu cumva in Umbrele Imperiului. Totusi, nu bag mana in foc.

Era Umbrele Imperiul, I'm pretty certain...vreti sa verific? Am cartea langa mine.

The whole thing's in the movie as well (you know, when that capsule opens up and we see that Vader's not wearing his helmet) - though it's not explained.
Garak's probably right about the dark side not healing, but can't he do something similar to drain in KotOR or JK?
I don't think growing his limbs back would have been a problem - not with all the technology available for cloning tissue.
He could have cloned a brand new body - like the Emperor did. Also, we know the Emperor periodically gave brand new bodies to some of his subjects - see Bevel Lemelisk.

It's just that getting back to his original state wasn't his goal. Through his trances he was aiming to gain independence - to rid himself of the suit meant to bypass and overthrow the man that had put him in it.

Meanwhile am aflat raspunsul din cartea Dark Lord. Nu s0a mai vindecat pentru ca pur si simplu nu i-a mai pasat. In perioada aia de doua luni sau cat a trecut de la masacru, a fsot super deprimat Vader si nah, Palpatine a incercat sa-i traga cateva bitch slaps sa se trezeasca la realitatea intunecata din fata lui, si odat ace Vader truely embraced the Darth Side, he just didn't care anymore, chiar daca la inceput il incomoda rau costumul.

Pai si atunci de ce mai incerca sa-si repare caile respiratorii in Umbrele Imperiului? Actiunea din cartea aia se petrece cu muuult timp dupa vechea trilogie.

Daca e sa ne gandim la efectele partii intunecate, dupa cum bine se spunea mai devreme, partea intunecata macina corpul din punct de vedere fizic. Cel mai bun exemplu e Palpatine. Totusi si aici exista diferente de la un exemplu la altul. Dooku arata bine pentru varsta. Pe el nu l-a mai macinat Forta.

In cartea "umbrele Imperiului" este o parte unde sta in cabina lui si se gandeste la Obi-Wan si isi concentreaza ura pentru a se vindeca. reuseste pentru un moment de poate respira fara casca, dar in momentul in care se face bine ii dispare si ura si cu asta si concentrarea si puterea d a se vindeca

Cade Skywalker cred ca ar fi putut sa-l vindece.

Pai nu am spus daca ar vrea sau nu. Insa avea capacitatea sa o faca, desi cu cat incerca mai tare sa vindece pe cineva cu atat se apropia mai mult de partea intunecata. Ceea ce ma face sa ma gandesc care e legaura dintre partea intunecata si puterea de a vindeca.

O fi faptul ca he is bending the Force (and life and stuff) to his will (which is a Dark Side way of doing things)? Resurrecting his master definetly means he was bending the Force to his will. Poate sunt si metode Light Side de a face chestiile astea dar Cade stumbled across the Dark Side way of doing things and stuck with it.

Cade definetly wont cure Krayt after Had Abbadon happened.
