V.C, CA Dead Bored

Uh, Disney report!

Went down just for Sunday, as Saturday was way too busy.

Managed to hook up with the Phoenix folks outside of CA Adventure.

Rode many rides...first was the water ride, on which Mr. GB got thoroughly soaked, a condition which was not changed until about, oh 5:00 pm.

Not much sun. :~)

Rode lots of rides, ate food (churros seem to be big for Phoenix people :~) )

Silent Bob from LA and Princess Skywalker from OCFF found us partway through the day. Eventually, we found MJF and her little ones for a short time. Met a few OCFFers just after the Phoenix people headed home, and we left then, too. All in all a fun day!

 

That does sound like a fun day. Wish I could have gone. I'm glad you guys had fun!

I vote for the Oxnard Strawberry festival! Yummmm...chocolate dipped strawberries....

I love teh Strawbary Festival. Has anyone put any thought into a booth at the Ventura County Fair?? Planing needs to start now.

 

Any idea how much a booth costs?

 

it's been about 8 years since I did it or Conejo Vally days sdo I dont know anymore. I will check to see if I still have the number for teh coordinator

 

We probably don't want to dip into our meager budget. :~D

Actually, OCFF has offered us table space for their table at ComicCon this summer. This means tha between now and then we need to come up with an icon, a flier motif, and get our webpage in order, if we want to take them up on it.

 

Let's get crackin' then!

I have an Astronomy test in 10 hours.

The homework is insane. The questions are like 3 paragraphs long, and the answers are multiple choice. I've been working on it since 8 PM, and I just passed my halfway mark.

I want to go to bed.
