That cake was made as a groom's cake for a local Star Wars artist, Chris Trevas. Jon was a stormtrooper at his wedding. The cake was made by Courtney Clark at Ann Arbor's Cake Nouveau. Courtney has been on tons of those cake competition shows (like Food Network Challenge and Ultimate Cake Off).

Please tell me Jon is one of the stormtroopers posing with the cake. I wouldn't let him live it down. I'd greet him with that pose every time I ran into him.

Oh, he is one of those troopers, the one on the left!

Get out of here. He was going to get a handshake and hug when I saw him in Orlando, but now I'm going to lay that "18 year old girl in her senior portrait" pose on him first thing. The photo has been saved.

Laugh it up Dustin! The other stormtrooper did that pose first, so I joined him. The bride loves the photos. I could barely hold my arms in that position because of the armor. You might see these pics in an upcoming SW book....

Oh yeah, the wedding was at Henry Ford Museum- the reception was in the actual museum area! Here are some more pictures: http://s312.photobucket.com/albums/ll343/CRGtrooper/Wedding%20Henry%20FORD/

I'm definitely sad I missed out on this. It's every little nerd's dream to have their picture taken with tauntaun intestinal cake at a wedding.
