Amph Deadpool, the (Golden Globe-nominated) Movies!

I just realized that as well. In fact, all three references meant as responses to Cable, involved Josh Brolin films: Thanos (obviously), Jonah Hex (DC movies), and "one-eyed Willy" (The Goonies).

I fell in love with Peter when he walked in because he reminded me of a skinny Mel Rodriguez and I love him on The Last Man on Earth. Innocence mixed with bravery and just a bit of ignorance to the gravity of the situation equals way over his head equal comedy gold!

 

I hope the W is for Wisdom.

 

Just a quick heads up, not all the references in the trailers will be in the film. So we might miss out on the DC and/or Thanos gags.

Yeah that Thanos quip seems almost custom made for the trailer when it runs in front of IW. But that was an under the mask line, easy to replace by dubbing. The DC one was w/o so the chances of it being there are a little higher I would think.

 

Or they could have filmed more than one version of that scene without the DC line, like the original Deadpool trailer with the 'Rosie O'Donnell' line about Gina Careno's character.

 

I'm sure they did film more than one version of it. I would think they end up with tons of takes that don't make the cut with Reynolds and the rest of the cast improvising lots of scenes. Just saying the chances are a little higher. It's a niche line just not quite as narrowly targeted as the Thanos one.

 

Although, now that one of DC's properties has acknowledged it, maybe it'll be kept in.

 

Or he could go for the knees and quip back at Titans about those leaked live-action set pics. People have been absolutely brutal on those.

 

Just when I'd erased them from my mind...

 

What was the original line?

 

I'm doing this from memory, but if I recall the line was "Oh come on, don't leave me here with less angry Rosie O'Donnell?" I think the next trailer had changed the name to Jose Conseco.

 

In the UK it's still Rosie O'Donnell - I saw it again a few weeks ago on Netflix.

 

That's a given with the first film and the countless takes of Weasel coming up with insults about Wade's face.
