Neither are r rated, are they? So either a tamer trailer or a different film.

Edit: there are quite a few R films coming out early August, nuru assume most will be limited releases.

Yeah, his career after Star Trek is a bit of a thor subject.

 

There are some many things I like about the leaked SDCC footage, like the jabs at the Green Lantern film and sewing Deadpool's mouth shut in Origins. I can't wait to see the high resolution footage of Colossus, which is a total improvement over Singer's version. It would appear that not only does Colossus look better, but he has real weight to him, like a tank.

I'm sure there will be a trailer for Deadpool in front of Fantastic Four.

 

Oh wow, I didn't know Colossus is set to appear! That stokes my fires, he's my fave X-Man who's been grossly underserviced in the Singer and related films.

Also, I've been avoiding this thread because I'm not a person for whom "chimichanga" is a verb. So there's that.

It's not in the trailer, but it's something Reynolds said in the comic con panel about him only taking the role if his mouth wasn't sewn shut.

Sorry, sorry, I just now realized I thought someone was asking about Chris Pine and not Chris Hemsworth. Duh.

 

They are that desperate to get people into see Fantastic especially after the internet has torn apart Kate Mara's awful wig, Thingless Thing and Nightlight Doom. They'll release the trailer there. But no way it can be red band.

 

Yeah, the best way to get people to buy a ticket for that disaster is to put a trailer they really want to see with it.

 

I'm guessing it's his facial scares are part of the CGI. It looked like he had some makeup work done in the footage, but didn't look anywhere near the "Freddy Krueger [made love to the face] of a topographic map of Utah" mentioned by TJ Miller.

The images show Deadpool with two of the film's leading ladies: Morena Baccarin's Vanessa and Brianna Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The third image shows Deadpool doing one of the things he does best -- looking badass while holding two swords.

There was no Marvel Studio presence at this year's SDCC and DC's pretty much dominated Hall H, but I heard that the Deadpool trailer rocked the house and the folks in Hall H cheered for the DP trailer to be played one more time.
