I admit I didn't vote either, I didn't know about this challenge at first and since I have only read a very few of the diaries when I found out, I didn't feel I could vote. Maybe that's the reason for a lot of people?

It's too late now, but otherwise for 2009 it could have been made a condition for entering: that you'll also commit to voting in the end? (even if you haven't read them all)

Just an idea.

Edit: I received a phone call while I was typing this PM, and I then I had to hurry up to take my son to school, so I posted then left, forgetting to congratulate BigFatty. Your diary was awesome.

I too didn't vote. I got so caught up in doing the 2009 Diary index I forgot! Though I would have been hard put as to which diary to vote for, as most of them were really well done.

 

heck... had i known that voting was going on still i'd have gone and read some of the older ones. thought it was over before i even got signed up/found out about it.
