So let's talk instead.
Why are you here? What brought you to the challenge? What do you hope to achieve? What are your aspirations? A word count? The format or just trying to keep writing for a longer time?

 

What I'd like to achieve is writing a story and posting in it every week (or almost every week) or a sustained period of time (aka a year). In the past few years I've had less and less time for fanfic, and even my current epic has been on hiatus for over half a year. I've participated in all four diary challenges. The first one I finished, but at least half of it was written at the end of October when I had time and posted every three days until it was done - I had long since been kicked out of the challenge. The second I gave up on a few weeks in. The third I did really well on, wrote all the entries (actually still posting it because I didn't remember to update every week) but it was a shorter (VSD) format, so I wrote the entire thing one morning the first week of January.

So this one I'd like to write and keep going for a whole year without giving up and without writing too much in advance (or at least, if I do, make them usuasl-length posts).

 

Well, my hope is to keep this up for an entire year. Sadly, my muse has quieted down, which I find severely annoying and now I'm stuck doing research rather than putting my thoughts down into words.

I have two storylines in one diary and when I first had the idea, I thought it would be easy. But it's not. It gets difficult after a while because the OC can't be everywhere at once and sometimes I want to write a scene where she has no business being.
But that's the challenge. Having the readers know what's going on but not having the OC be there herself. If that even makes sense.

 

I also want to write over a longer period of time and I adore writing from the first person POV. I love the intimate feel. It is also an act of love for the character I'm focusing on

I'm also using this as a spring board into writing multichaptered fics -- even if they're just two posters LOL
