I don't think it's too late but I just want to make sure. Is it too late to enter?
Last entry date is teh 14th of January.
Just a note, I've changed the title to "Reconnection".
Now, that I have just logged out of the sock?
Will change it tomorrow.
I'm giving this another shot

I've decided to give this a try! Here's Han Solo in [link=http://boards.theforce.net/beyond_the_saga/b10477/30684497/p1/?1]My Heart Has Come Home[/link]
The entries have been terrific! Thanks everyone for participating.
Here is my Before entry for this year [link=http://boards.theforce.net/before_the_saga/b10475/30689743/p1/]Wild Child[/link]
Be on the look out for another!
Got my second one up:
You can find it here...
MsLanna... is there a specific format that you would like our updates PMed to you like we did for last year's host?
*slides in at the last minute*
Here's my Diary for 2010!!!
[link=http://boards.theforce.net/beyond_the_saga/b10477/30692668/p1/]My Therapist Made Me do It[/link]
I really don't care as long as there's a link, Macja.
I prefer this kind of link: [link=http://url here]title in here[/link]
because it opens the link in a new window with my browser.
Other than that, whatever flaots your boat. If you have a pm list, just add the sock and use whatever you send out.
I decided to start a diary after all.
[link=http://boards.theforce.net/the_saga/b10476/30694157/p1/]Mauled in Half - Darth Maul's Penance[/link]. It's about Darth Maul's experiences in the afterlife.
I know it's 1/15 by now, but I posted the thread at 11:59pm so am I okay?

Don't mind me, I'm with her ^^^ or something
P.S. If riding on the coattails of Lady_Tahiri's excuse doesn't fly, there's always this:
I should've been a lawyer.
Don't know what you guys are worried about. It's still the 15th. At least in my part of the world.
Still the 15th here too. And also on the boards...
If you still want a Glare of Death?, you can get one, though.
I don't know about anyone else, but that's why I was goose-stepping around
Yes, I saw that, too, just now.
My fault, so I stand by the 15th now, because I said so.
Okay people, the index should be finished now.
If you're not on it - did you send me a pm? No? Better do so NOW!
During the weekend I'll try to cobble up some stats, useles but fun.
Here is Number 2
Okay, DRL ate the stats.
So let's talk instead.
Why are you here? What brought you to the challenge? What do you hope to achieve? What are your aspirations? A word count? The format or just trying to keep writing for a longer time?
What I'd like to achieve is writing a story and posting in it every week (or almost every week) or a sustained period of time (aka a year). In the past few years I've had less and less time for fanfic, and even my current epic has been on hiatus for over half a year. I've participated in all four diary challenges. The first one I finished, but at least half of it was written at the end of October when I had time and posted every three days until it was done - I had long since been kicked out of the challenge. The second I gave up on a few weeks in. The third I did really well on, wrote all the entries (actually still posting it because I didn't remember to update every week) but it was a shorter (VSD) format, so I wrote the entire thing one morning the first week of January.
So this one I'd like to write and keep going for a whole year without giving up and without writing too much in advance (or at least, if I do, make them usuasl-length posts).
Well, my hope is to keep this up for an entire year. Sadly, my muse has quieted down, which I find severely annoying and now I'm stuck doing research rather than putting my thoughts down into words.
I have two storylines in one diary and when I first had the idea, I thought it would be easy. But it's not. It gets difficult after a while because the OC can't be everywhere at once and sometimes I want to write a scene where she has no business being.
But that's the challenge. Having the readers know what's going on but not having the OC be there herself. If that even makes sense.
I also want to write over a longer period of time and I adore writing from the first person POV. I love the intimate feel. It is also an act of love for the character I'm focusing on
I'm also using this as a spring board into writing multichaptered fics -- even if they're just two posters LOL
