    No, it is more like Anakin / Vader "spiritual wounded" Padme in a fit of rage. That is besides all the stress she was under, some of it caused by Anakin, it was a perfect storm.

    We're talking about a fantasy universe where all living and non-living things are interconnected by a great energy field. There was a connection in this field between Anakin and Padme. When Anakin slipped into darkness, that bond was broken and Padme could not live without it. Love, what are you gonna do?
