Death Haiku

A haiku poem consists of:

first line: 5 syllables
second line: 7 syllables
third line: 5 syllables

The theme, obviously, is death, loss, or destruction of something (or someone) that was once very dear to your heart ... or (since death is celebrated as a beginning in many cultures), something that is coming close to its natural, fitting end.

My first:

Once shining and new,
now vile and desecrated:
The Jedi cesspit.

 

I celebrate death
I like it alot i do
help people get there

 

Are you gothic ?

 

Gristle, marrow, blood.
A corpse several sections long.
Carrion for vultures.

A haunting-eyed ghost,
A disaffected 'old' man.
"Revenge," they speak.

 

No civility.
Puppets on a well-trod stage.
While we mourn the loss.

 

I think of the dead
I remember the times when
They were still living

 

Death comes in stages:
Commences in dark terror.
Ends softly in peace.

 

Brother tastes my blood
Sister releases my soul
Death is family

 

specialize in pain
keep you locked inside my head
lonely far too long

 

Stick it to the fools.
Wave the vultures far away.
This fine corpse is ours.

 

With a sallow face
Greedy, wanting, heartless soul
Forever w(r)eaping

I saw Death today,
the truth, the myth, and the life,
I am not afraid.

 

Innuendo rules.
Trust and respect have died.
On and on it goes.

Miscommunicate.
Your rumors, you celebrate.
Let old hurt kill you.

Old friends beleaguered.
Carrying JC's dead weight.
Strength fading away.

I shake my 'old' head.
I see the same old arguements,
the same old bull----

Watch the skein twisting.
See the frustrations mounting.
Good minds turning bad.

Do you listen, hm?
Do you hear the other side?
Do you type in vain?

I think you all do.
Feasting upon this dead corpse.
While your heads inflate.

No civility.
Only politics you seek,
turning in the gyre.

No interest in truth.
Only the settling of scores.
A depressing sight.

So I post thoughts here.
I take a long, cleansing breath.
And shake my 'old' head.

 

We're not together.
Five months, dead to the other.
I miss you sometimes.

 

You people are all sick

 

I pray for an end
Nothingness to take my pain
God wont let me rest

Now my stomach is on fire.

my head hurts real bad
my life sucks major buttock

give up all your hope

death is life's relief

 

look up the barrel
choose to pull or not to pull
fall to the ground dead

 

watch friends come and go
feel the pain as they leave u
choose death over life
