Death Haiku

This thread must not die.
Let its pages brim over ...
with lamentation.

 

my soul is dying
everything seeming so good
now all is awry

a stupid mistake
and all that has been worked for
has been brought to naught

why is love so cruel
what fates determine these things
feeling so weary

i think i shall sleep
i need to sort out my thoughts
see you all later

 

Sorry for your pain.
Love-pain cuts the deepest wounds.
But all is not lost.

Because true love is
not this constant torturous
feeling of soul-death.

*True* love is not cruel.
It doesn't kill your good soul.
Or cause you despair.

True love surrouds, binds.
Makes two independent souls'
connection stronger.

Mistakes cannot kill
it, nor dissipate the bond
you've formed with your love.

Death comes only to
bad relationships, ones that
do not serve our souls.

Have been down this road.
It is fraught with misery.
And self-deception.

Find your center, friend.
Do not dwell on things painful.
They do not serve you.

I hope these words give aid.
Know that this love-pain doesn't
last. Stay strong, mt.

 

Bad habits die hard.
But that is not an excuse
To allow them to live.

Love does not cure all
it is just an evil lie
it rips your heart out

 

I hope haiku lets
you cope with the pain you feel.
Pain can overwhelm.

I thought haiku was
nature poem but death is
also cool I guess

 

Haiku has many
forms; but here we write of death
in five-seven-five.

 

I am masochist.
I "love the things I should fear"
You'd think I would learn.

But no, I do not.
I keep the dead things alive.
And welcome the pain.

 

Okay, better now.
Had momentary sadness
last night; it's gone now.

The bad parts *do* leave.
And the old patterns do die ...
allowing rebirth.

 

It's hard to let go.
Hard to let those parts die off.
The struggle's worth it.

New year approaches.
A lot of pain in this year.
I'm glad that it's gone.

 

Hope that you will have
a great holiday this year
things will get better

 

Death is part of Life
Without it's cleansing power
Life would be like death

but begining leads to death
trapped in the circle

 

I want the past dead.
I want it to leave me alone.
Why did this happen?

Unfinished business.
Lies and half-truths live again ...
Pain revisited.

But I'm not helpless.
I'm stronger, far far stronger.
I won't give in now.

I have fought too hard.
Built my life back up again.
Built up from that loss.

The past must die now.
All else is irrelevant.
Leave me to my peace.

 

Cold and dark he comes,
Death with his skeletal hand,
beckons towards me.

 

I just do not know.
Months and months have gone by now.
Indecision lives.

 

I am better now.
I'm glad to be much stronger.
And the shock is gone.

I have past regrets.
Words of anger I regret ...
that have since taught me.

I wish I could make
it right, set it all straight; for
loss to have meaning.
