December 2012 meeting - 12/15 @ 2 PM

The December 2012 meeting will be on the 15th at 2 PM at the Newman's house up North. The food theme is "flaming food and liquids." We'll be having a "White Bantha" gift exchange, so if you'd like to participate, please bring a gift that is between $10 and $15. Lego rule in effect!

Shouldn't you post gift rules?

 

The first rule of White Bantha gift exchange is that we don't talk about White Bantha gift exchange...

 

Rule: No crying. Children are welcome to play, but they must be prepared to have their present stolen. Adults who cry will be mocked.

I thought the first rule was, no live things?

 

So no jerky or dried fruit?

 

American food-like products are okay. If you can find a way to box up your snarkiness, that could be an unsuspecting gift...

So long as it isn't alive... And perhaps I pity the person who opens a box full of...snark?

Any idea when we'll do bantha? We will have to head out around 5, and I know we usually wait quite a bit to get things started.....just wondering if I need to euthanize the animal, er, " gift" ahead of time so it doesn't suffocate in the wrapping.

But no really, just wondering if I should/shouldn't bring a gift due to time. Word.

 

Meeting this Saturday at 2. Hope people can get there relatively on time as we have people who need to leave by 5. Perhaps we should do the White Bantha first, then official meeting stuff? I'll leave that decision up to our CR and/or popular demand that day.
