December Event

Hey all. In December, we are going to have another event at Wickam Park as a holiday party/Inauguration party.

This is a thread to get some of the information for that party on the board. We also will be discussing this at the next meeting.

 

Ya know....... I just watched the Star Wars Holiday Special...... Awesome!!!!!
It gave me some grand schemes.......

I do not know which is worse, the Holiday Special or Teletubbies.

What ideas did we come up with at the last meeting? I remember Capture the Flag and Camping.

 

Ya see...... the Tents are the Wookie Tree Village, and two people designated as Han and Chewie have to try and get there. In the meantime players tagged as Imperials have to stop them, and players charged with bing the Rebels bave to hinder them.
If Han and Chewie make it through someone designated as Princess Leah gets to sing to them!!!!!!

I have the list that we came up with. I'll post them later, when Darryl and Chris stop hovering over me for the computer.

Yeah, we could probably do that. I don't know if anyone adequately explained the idea yet but here goes my shot at it. ;-)

The idea is to have a 9-9 party at Wichkam park. It will start at 9am and go till the next morning; to include camping. The trick is we are going to have a schedule of events so that if you have a job, family, or other real life event that must conflict then you can come to those things you find interesting and not do the other things.

We'll also be doing a BBQ too I believe. We'll have to talk about this alot next meeting.

Rumor has it that Darryl has one. Perhaps he can tell us what it is. Personally, I think he's faking it.

Speaking about sanity, any more news on the rules for the Bounty Hunter (ie SW Assassin) game?

 

I believe Buzz was heading that game up.

 

The official rule book is on order. In the event that it doesn't arrive I'll make up the rules.

Hey all,
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you on the camping information. I've ben tied up and not in the fun way either.
Between getting out of the Navy this week and moving relatives from one place to the next, and assistant coaching mibble school girls volleyball I have had like no "Buzz Time" whatso ever.
After Wednesday I'll have a little less on my plate and I will get it to you.

Is the plan to start this on the 14th or end this on the 14th?

In other words, if it's an overnight camping event, is it Friday evening to Saturday, or is it Saturday to Sunday?

I believe we planned it to start the morning of the 14th and run till the morning of the 15th.
