FF:NSW December Meet - Christmas Party: My Bad

It's not long until the planned December meet in the Hole in the Middle of Nowhere and I've been very naughty to leave the planning until this late.

Sowwy people, been preoccupied with all of my exams at school.

Anyway, it's scheduled for either 8th or 9th of December, which is the Saturday or the Sunday.
Now, I'm not quite sure which yet, as I've spoken to different people who want different days.
So, could people please PM me about which day they would prefer, or if they can't come on one of the days so I know what I'm doing?
As soon as I know which day I'll put it up here

As for the meet itself.....any ideas on what to do/bring/make/discover/hide/dance/love/hate/trample/trip over/destroy?

8th is better for me n Jenna. We and (presumably) Sam have Reubens party that night, but the day is ok.

 

Either would be fine for me, I'm off uni from the 5th and would welcome a break

There tonnes of things we could do, it all depends on how far people want to travel, cash to spend, that sort of thing.

 

Make a decision nice and quick! I can't take days off work during December unless I've got plenty of notice.

 

I'm out, going to Sydney two weekends in a row already, and I don't think that I can add a third, even if it is a shorter trip.

 

The 9th is best for me as I'll be working Night Shift on the 8th.

Kieca, I'd say just pick a date. A few people won't be able to go either way but the longer you leave it the less time there'll be for the others to get work off so they can come.

Well, I've discussed it with my parents and it seems for them the Saturday is the preferable day, so it looks like it will probably be the 8th.

m-m, is there any way you could make it on the 8th at all? Even for just a special guest appearance?
Although, it's a bit out of the way to go just to do that...

 

Unless it's close to Artarmon and I get an extended break I unfortunately wont be able to make it ..... again.

Now Shara had all those travel arrangements. How many of those are still in place.

 

If I can make it I'll be driving. If you live anywhere in the Sutho/Hurstville area or can there and you want a lift down to Kieca's let me know.

 

Can you repost those arrangements in here Shara? I don't know how to get there, whether we can train/bus from the north or from central or something.

 

Train from central, I'll work out the exact ones when we organise a time. Then the only thing we actually had worked out was a 'car relay' from the station to Kieca's place. I'll organise that part a bit more in depth, once again, when we have a time.

 

Sounds like Kieca needs to set up a time for us to get there ASAP.

I won't know whether I'll be able to come until like the day beforehand, sowwy.. it depends on how work and stuff is going and whether deadlines are shifted, stuff like that.

If I do end up coming though, Ki, I wouldn't mind a bit of a lift either
And perhaps DA might be with me as well

I'm really really doubtful on getting the day off work. Even after the urging of a certain someone to chuck a sickie, I'm not sure that'll go down well with my managers (especially since I wanna keep this job after Xmas).
