I work. It sucks; I get one day off every 10 days or so. Kinda puts the ixnay on travel, too.
Anybody got a better job for me?

Work at Lazer Core. JK! ;) I tried to get a job there over the summer, didn't work out. I applied to so many places, but nobody hired me. Sucked big time. So I helped out at various places over the summer. Ren Faire kind of screwed me over on getting an actual job... ;) And I know -E- that you are far away from it.

Jon, looks like you have another place to go too. Now you have to get John and -E-. LOL!

    Updated List (saves Dajuan time.)

    Dajuan +1
    Jon
    John (possibly, needs Vader)

Who all is in for the Lightsaber "tournament"?

I would like to make the duel brackets... You know, who-fights-who. :D

Also, Dajuan, you could put (JCF+Lera) by my username, because Claire is a member on here now. ;) I should have put the usernames on there. Didn't think about that. And, TwiLeksRokMySox name is Cory. Just read his userpage. :)

    And..lightsaber tournament? Sounds like fun:D

Where are you coming from? How far are you driving?

Also, people are going to have to bring their own lightsabers. I don't have enough to go around and even if I did, I probably wouldn't afterwards. ;) You can get a lightsaber at Toys 'R' Us or Target or some store like that for about $15. (If you go to the Toys 'R' Us in Mid Rivers, you might get a discount from Ted... ;)

Let's make those brackets for the lightsaber tourney. Who's in? Post if you are.

I am, Claire is, and if Ted comes, count him in too.

Me and my buddy Justin, and we have our own sabers too. We're coming from Potosi. I think its about a 2 hr drive.

(Which type will be the type used..the telescopic, I'm assuming?)

If you guys are using store bought sabers, I would deffinatly recommend the ones you buy for about $10 that telescope completely into the handle. The don't light up, but they are cheaper and more durable. I know, when I worked at Kmart we would have lightsaber fights in the toy department when we got close to closing time.

Yeah, we have used those many, many times. Incidentally, we use dowel rods the most for simulated sword play.

Yes. Unless you want to use the following...

Yeah, we have used those many, many times. Incidentally, we use dowel rods the most for simulated sword play.

Now, what you do with the dowel rods is, you get one of those noodle things you see at pools and stuff, stick a dowel rod into the middle, saw off the ends(so it can be approximately the size of a broadsword), and ta-daa! You have a great battling melee weapon. They don't hurt(unless you strike someone across the face with it), and they're really cheap. We could definitely do something like that. I think the noodles are on sale most places you go to now... ;)

Surprisingly, those are more durable. Better plastic. I gave my little sister one of those one year for Christmas. I always have little lightsaber fights in the toy stores with those. The plastic hanger thing gets in the way sometimes... ;) I either use those, or wrapping paper rolls. :D Very fun. I did get warned about using those in stores once though. It was at some card/party store in Mid Rivers, can't remember the name of it. But it was so funny... [face_laugh] I was thinking of doing a fanfilm on that once. ;)

You make the brackets JCF? I'm in, probably Jon too.

Sure thing. I'll put them on here soon. :)

Doll rods are for wimps. Jon and I will get out the big sticks and see how long you last against us ;) Seriously, that sounds like it could work.

With the wrapping paper rolls, I've had the same idea with the Fan Film. We should talk JCF.
