Spring, MO December

It was passed around that with the month of December being so busy for a lot of us, that we have a New Year's party (on the 31st, of course ) for the December meeting. It has become tradition to have this party at Amy's...

Of course other suggestions, ideas are always welcome, so step up and help us plan!!

 

Weekend of the 16th work?

 

That is the weekend we will celebrating Rowan's birthday so the 16th is out for me. But, looks like I won't have an open weekend in Dec. anyway.

 

Well the first maybe? End of the month sucks as well. We could just call the social the meeting and do a New Years thing. IIRC we've done that in years past because December is always so nuts.

 

I vote for that. All I need is a meeting to go to as an excuse NOT to finish Christmas shopping. We can just hang out on the 8th and then do New Year's. I volunteer my house again. Chances are the kids will be here, so feel free to bring your kids. In fact, my kids would be less likely to drive us insane if there are other kids to play with back in the bedrooms. Then we wouldn't have to play Clue for several hours.

 

Sounds like a good idea Dajuan. The only weekend that will be nuts for me will be the 9/10, otherwise, I will have no husband around. LOL

Oh and please bring the kids! I don't know if I can take the stress of being beaten by the girls again. Repeatedly. Either that or I need to hone my Clue skills... LOL

 

The weekend of 16/17th is definitely out since its my birthday. Not sure what my wife has planned for that weekend yet.

I'm going to try and make the social on the 8th, but the rest of the month is pretty slim. I'll see what I can do when you guys get plans though. New Years will be a no-go for me also, already have plans with other friends.

 

It would seem that I am only going to have the first two weekends free after all. So maybe keeping the 8th, and maybe starting a little earlier would work best?? Say 7, that is not to much earlier than Dajuan was wanting to start...

This may be a silly question, but I am going to ask anyway. LOL

I will have to work until between 10-11. Will everyone still be there since you are starting earlier?

If so, I will be there.

 

I can bet that we will be still there or moved to the next stop. I hear talk of some going to a club after we break up from Show-me's... Just give me a call (my phone will work there).

I do not if Show Mes is still down there. I eard some where that they went bankrupt.

I know Show Me's as a chain is still around. There is one right down the street from where I live. Not sure about the Landing.

I'm up for amy's again, that was fun last year. if we do the 31st, I can make it. and to all u guys, sorry for being absent so much, but I work 2 jobs now. I'll do my best to make meetings so bear with me.
