JCC Deck The Halls...

    It's that time of year when many of us put up all things shiny, bright and lively. Just this morning I did the finishing touches on the tree and front room for the holiday season.

    Now I just spin around and this makes me smile, though I've a table unseen to the right that is as yet empty. Guess it means I must go shopping. :D :D

    Like previous years, show me your decorations and trees.

    I've put a wreath on the front door but that's it; buying a tree will probably come next weekend.

    I generally don't bother with a tree or decorations since I don't have kids (and I used to have cats. I was afraid they'd destroy a tree). However your place looks pretty nice. Where's the Yoda on the right of the pic from?

    If you like decorations, then hang as many as you can! You should be doing all you can to make yourself smile. I'm making up for all the years I didn't, though that was another long story. (ex is Muslim, and I was respectful - not so long I guess :p )

    The Yoda was part of the Pepsi TPM campaign back in 1999 at a grocery chain my ex use to work out. When he left years later they gave it to him. When we split he didn't have room and I offered it a home. :D

    Pretty nice Yoda! I think CrazyMike has a life-size Maul that was part of the same campaign.

    We don't decorate till about 5 days before Christmas but I like it that way. I think I appreciate the decorations all the more because of it.
    So yeah expect my pictures in about 20 days time, give or take a few.

    Good idea Ramza! We're looking at decorating the department next week Tom. I'm more with caedus then helinith. 5 days before doesn't seem like getting to appreciate them nearly long enough. Granted, I did put up lights for the first time 4 years ago and never took them down.
