I loved this when I read it...where did I read it? Damn my faulty memory. Anyway...beautiful sentiments of beginnings and endings.

 

On Tumblr, silly. I haven't bothered to put it up at AO3 yet, since it's so short. What I can't remember is what inspired me to write it, lol...

Oh, that last line is a killer! Lovely bit of writing, and Mara's internal thoughts and feeling feel spot on.

 

The funny thing is, I struggled so badly on the last line, LOL. Everything else just spilled out, but that was a traffic jam right there. Glad it still worked out.

 

Well, I was going to say (with the usual delay) how happy I am to see a new post on this thread, but I think I'll quote ginchy instead.
