Sometimes I wonder why adults forget the lessons we learned as children, like being kind to each other, and treating others like how you would want to be treated. I may be naive, but I've never forgotten those lessons, because that's how I want to be treated. But as I got older, I realized some people derive pleasure from hurting others, whether with violence or with words.

I've made mistakes on my time here (who hasn't?), but some people continue to revel in those mistakes, even when I make posts that are fairly innocent. My autism is not and shouldn't be an excuse, but neither is continuing to rub those mistakes in my face and being generally mean to me over some perceived character flaw.

This point onward, I am going to be XXXXX-tra careful about what I post, and if I do, somehow, someway, slip up, just let the incident go. Just walk away. Ignore it. If it's a bannable offense, let the mods handle it. Otherwise, LEAVE ME ALONE.

 

No, sorry... if you post something creepy, you're going to get called on it, like anybody else would. I agree with Ross about calling you out when you're not being creepy. I'll chill on that. But if you're a creep, I'm going to say something about it.
