Just got back from scoping out the street conditions, parade route, detours and parking situation...

First, while there is street parking near the walk-in entrance (Blake & the #s), it also means you'll have to walk back to your car. And pay careful attention to the signs. I don't want anyone getting towed, and trust me, they will tow you.

Second, the exit detour (Park to Wewatta, to Chestnut, to 15th) after the disband area takes us right past the detour Light Rail Station. With a little ingenuity and maybe some help from our CMC friends, we should be able to drop those in need off at the station.

Lastly, anyone taking the parking gamble, make sure you give yourself lots of time, and have backups planned before going. And again, pay attention to all of the signs.

Great times were had by all! Thanks to everybody who came and helped make the float and the entry a reality. Awesome job! And thanks to Zoo for bringing out Kevin Anderson and his wife. They were great to talk to and seemed to have a lot of fun.

Photos over on FB with Bill and Mel posting more later, I'm sure.
