They still have a long way to go to catch up with Florida...
I love that there isn't even a corresponding phrase in the original verse. They just straight up added that last phrase on there just because.
Now, it says right there "a Colbert interview featured this project". Byt this time I am sure they know Colbert is a parody of right wing politics and newscasting. But it is still an attempt to use it to legitimize the project.
Without a free Fox(News) there is not a free America
You know what? I think this is thread worthy. I shalt start a thread just for this quote.
Let's free Fox, then - set them adrift in the ocean or something.
Just read and listen to it
I was just going to post that very same news story, but I see I was beaten to the punch.
Stay classy, Arkansas.
Not that we do much better here. The wife of one of the legislators who sponsored Amendment One (keep marriage between one man and one woman) flat-out said that one reason her husband wanted the bill is that they are afraid white people are not reproducing enough.
Yeah, because we're all going to start having more babies if you keep gay people from getting married.
Yes, we need to go back to more traditional marriages as defined in the Bible:
One man and his rib-clone female
One man and his rape victim
One man and many women
One man and his female prisoner of war
The Senator Rapert thing is being shown on Maddow. The prayer breakfast? Apparently Obama attended every year so far. He has also been financed by the Koch brothers. She is also recapping things like the death penalty for kids, muslims rounded up and removed, all such things brought to us by Arkansas Republicans.
High school teacher and football coach in trouble for making disparaging comments about Michelle Obama and homosexuals in front of students
From That^^ "I don't like queers. I don't … I don't hate them as a person but what they do is wrong, it's an abomination against God. I don't like being around queers."
Recently a very nice person I know where I work revealed that he is like this. "They don't let men be men anymore. They'll teach homosexuality in schools soon." He really is a nice fellow, I have worked with him. But he is far right wing tea party all the way. I did not offer a counter point, there is no point in doing so.
Ten dumbest things said...
It claims ten dumbest of the past year and is very gun control slanted but it lacks the "legitamite rape" quote to be proper.
I was on the bus with a guy like that. He is 7th Day Adventist, tho, so no point in trying to contradict him.
"A credit card can be used to cut someone's throat."
Actually that is possible...however totally irrelevant to the topic of gun control, since
a. the credit card edge would have to be filed down to razor sharpness.
b. the only way to do it successfully is if your victim is asleep or otherwise incapacitated.
c. the credit card is just a concealer for a razor knife and your name is Steven Seagal
Please...make the pain stop...
It's the ten dumbest things of THIS YEAR. As in 1 month.
Wow. Some pastor is so far in the closet, he's in Narnia.
Maybe if "Christians" stopped with the systematic hate and bigotry towards gay people they wouldn't fear their retaliation?
10 points. Perfect score on style, literary reference and referencing a closeted homosexual christian author. No deductions
Are these psychotic morons becoming less and less common though?
Speaking of which, I just saw this on TV: https://www.getedgeofglory.com/
Actually, he didn't say that.
He actually said that other, more liberal Christians would burn all conservative Christians at the stake.
Just to . . . clarify . . . I guess that would mean I'd be one of the ones with a torch . . .
Yep, even says so in the article. THE DERP IS MAKING ME LESS OBSERVANT! HELP!
