So another politician has decided to step into the women and rape issue. Rep Joe Salazar said women shouldn't carry guns on college campuses because they may 'feel like they are going to be raped' and starting shooting people. Because obliviously women are too stupid to know when someone is about to rape them.

Now leaving the issue of guns aside, you would think after Akin and his ilk politicians would learn by now not to say stupid crap like that.

Oh, no, it gets better. A GOP representative asked him how women were expected to defend themselves from rapists if they couldn't carry a gun. Because, you know, the only way to defend yourself against rapists is to shoot them.

His comments are indefensible but that entire debate was a giant, bipartisan DERP ADERP.

Women are the fairer sex and need protecting. Let's hire armed guards for all women since they're so frail and all. Then when the guards inevitably turn into rapists (which invariably happens in most situations) we know who to prosecute as well as force them to keep their rape baby--since we know only sluts enjoy sex. Ta-da!
