I went into a liquor store, made a purchase, and whiel I was there the employee says, "Man, you gotta listen to Alex Jones. You just download the app." Then he walked off shaking his head.

In related news, Gene Simmons has copyrighted the phrase "Kill Yourself," claiming he invented it.

is public "jumping" even a thing irl? its always seemed like it was either an old timey thing that's fallen out of fashion or its a narrative cliche that doesnt actually happen very often irl

Search engines seem to classify it more with jump roping or bungee jumping these days.

It still happens, only off bridges and things like that. Remember what happened with movie director Tony Scott? I remember hearing Howard Stern talked a guy off jumping one of New York's bridges back when he was on terrestrial radio.

I don't really like Nikki Sixx, but his reply is good.

yeah but i mean the whole doing it in a highly public place/time, intentionally or otherwise, in such a way that causes a crowd together and yell at you as in film and gene simmons' fantasies

i feel like the bridge jumping is usually a rather understated affair. even that guy who opened the door of a helicopter he was a passenger in over the grand canyon didnt like linger or anything to let the other passengers talk him down. he just went for it

Well, I recall the Catholic Church said either dogs have no soul or if they do they have a soul different than Mankind's because Jesus died for human souls because humans are made in God's image and dogs are not in God's image so technically this dog is not funny and this child is a sinning blasphemer.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I last read about a guy jumping off a building in New York City several years ago. I think it doesn't happen as much anymore because they have special barricades and other things to keep people from doing that. I mean, if you want to jump off the Empire State Building, they aren't going to make it easy for you.

Hopefully they never play the Van Halen song "Jump" or there's going to be an awkward moment of realization some day.

They need to keep their nasty inbred tripe away from any place where more decent people (i.e. any people) appear.

They cross the line just by stepping outside their tiny hellhole.
