He tricked rabbi's into appearing in his anti-semetic "documentary" film

Steven Anderson contacted Rabbi Leo Abrami, a Holocaust survivor, and claimed to be making a film that explained tenets of the Jewish faith to a Christian audience.

Both Abrami and Wiener signed releases allowing Anderson to use material from those interviews in his film — which is actually called Marching to Zion, and according to the promotional video that Anderson made for it, the purpose of the film is “to prove that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people in the New Testament but that we as believers, we as Christians, are God’s chosen people [and] that the modern-day nation of Israel over in the Middle East is a complete fraud.”

There's a video. Wow. He used DNA research. I believe it and it must be true.

It's not often that my small county makes the Charlotte WSOC-TV news, but it did last night; a 15 year old at the high school was arrested for slipping a pill into his teacher's drink.

The reason (and the reason I call this derp, and I'm aiming it at the kid, not the teacher)?

The teacher took away his laptop.

What kind of a pill was it? Poison or just a knock out drug?

 

Horny Goat Weed Extract ... and the teacher was a Ms. From what I've heard he was hoping to get her fired.

 

Why would she get fired for taking an herb? Horny goat weed isn't an illicit drug. It's used in Chinese medicine.

 

According to the RO(resource officer), he was hoping that by taking the pill (which was actually crushed to a powder; I forgot to mention that) she would do something stupid and get fired. He ended up tossing the drink out before she touched it, though.

What kills me here is that there is nothing like this on the Left. A few Dems make this thread but they are few and far between, they literally are fringe and actually difficult to recall off the top of my head. I think the guy who said islands float was a Democrat.

But for the Right there is loads of this stuff. How hard can it be for Dems to use this in campaigns? I tune in to Fox news, Beck, Limbaugh and hear lie after lie. They have nothing but they win elections. The Dems have everything and don't use it. It's like politics is the Twilight Zone.

 

Honestly, though, what are they going to say? Two dozen racists yelled racist stuff about Obama on a Saturday morning in the middle of the winter? That's not particularly demonstrative of anything. They're already making the broader point that the Tea Party is too extreme to be trusted with power.

 

Quite simply put, "Dear Democratic voters, when you don't vote the crap you see in this video wins."

Those are a good find. I could make the argument that it does not matter if it's left or libertarian, it's not the wacky right so it passes for an example of lefty derp. I'm sure there was enough of that exact behavior to fill a thread of this size? No, there isn't.

Also, Bush did not have several radio programs and an entire 24 hour news network calling him and/or comparing him to Hitler on a daily basis. And I do mean daily. Those same networks get away with racists comments, daily. Those same entities lie about the "horrors" of Obamacare, daily.

"Wait VLM, MSNBC said bad stuff about Bush everyday." Well they never called him Hitler at all let alone on a daily...did I mention daily....basis. Also, they had something to complain about. Obama's admin might not be perfect but the previous admin was made up of flat out criminals. Torture, which they lied about and changed the legal language so it would be legal. Lied their way into the invasion of a country, etc etc. Each side compalins about the other, but one side takes their vitriol to ridiculous levels(hence, this thread) filled with lies and one does not, and has something to complain about(though that side occasionally makes it here too).

The Big Lie, the Right uses this all the time, the not-Right does not.

 

I think the context of those marches is important when considering the hyperbole and slogans etc. Most, if not all demonstrators were trying to prevent the killing of innocent people, or at least demonstrate opposition to the cause of killing innocent people. I don't support the death penalty at all, but people are free to advocate it for Bush and Blair's crimes if they want. The goatee guy with the bad spelling calling for Bush's house to be bombed was, I assume, attempting satire. He seems to be saying Bush should be considered a terrorist, subject to the same treatment as those in the middle east.

The Tea Party and similar groups seem to oppose Obama because of his skin tone, his name, and for trying to implement a slightly less unfair healthcare system. He's also done some evil war crime ****, but for some reason the right don't seem to mind on the whole. Nor does the left, worryingly.
