Describe YOUR experience for TPM

I'm just wondering how everyone experienced the TPM in theaters. I'm talking about the months, weeks, days and HOURS before and how exactly they felt walking out of the movie. Did you take that week off from work? Did you see it again the following morning? Were you overwhelmed?

I wasn't into Star Wars as much then as I am now so I envy everyone who was incredibly excited and hyped about this film after 16 years of waiting. Granted I saw it in the theaters, but I wasn't a part of the crowd that was waiting outside in lines for months.

I would love to hear people's experiences leading up to and immediately after the release of the movie.
