I wasn't sure how many there were till recently. I loved the show when I was a kid. Does anyone know if they're ever gonna revive the hairy cat chaser for another show?

Dex's diner felt out of place as well as the playstation-like video games in the Courescant bar.It reminded me of seeing Apple computers used as props in 70's sci-fi shows. AOTC had many bad sci-fi cliche elements like the typical Bladerunner ripoff city seen in other bad sci-fi movies like "Total Recall".

 

Total recall was a good film, gritty and dangerous feeling. True, I havn't seen it in a while and my opinion might be different these days, but I liked it whan I last saw it.

And Dexter's diner is one of my favorate locations in AOTC, because it feels different to everything else and has a friendly atmosphere, it is also the home of some great carachter development for Obi-Wan. Teriffic scene.

And yep, this thread is dead, but everyone else has already said that.

 

Why is this thread failing so miserably??? Someone should closely study the matter, and write an essay on it.

I don't know why I am posting here. Maybe that is why it is not very busy. No real topic. If I were visiting Coruscant I would hit Dex's for breakfast or a quick something after a late show. It seems it would be open all night. I like Dex, he is Obi's buddy, I don't really want him to touch my food though. Unless he only uses the one set of hands for cooking.

 

Is anyone here? I need someone to talk too. Is anyone out there that needs a hug? I am here. I need to eat something from this diner.

 

Something must be done to get this thread popular again.

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice, says: "Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: "OK, now what?"

 

Sick jokes, that's just what this thread needs to revive it!
