Ok I guess it falls on me to teach you young whippersnappers how it's done. Memories of the Campsite Let's see if memories serves it goes something like this:

And then Eric really got nasty with the "co-founder", but that's for another day. So many great memories, it just makes my eyes tear up at the thought.

Please don't use the word "gleam" and Jar Jar in the same sentence.

 

The icing on the cake of the "Great Cuss Out of 1999" as it was soon known as, was the fact that my lovely, demure wife was carpet bombing the "co-founder" with f-bombs and sob-bombs.

Nothing like the sight of your woman verbally wailing away at a guy, whose entire world had collapsed around him, after the great and powerful Morpheus dog cussed him.

I wasn't there that day, and I'm not sorry I missed the experience personally. I'd rather keep my memories of CDD as fun as possible.

I wish I could be there for this time around gang. I'm gonna miss the Galaxy come this May. Up here camping is simply not necessary. The population of geeks is drastically lower than anywhere I've ever been before. I expect to get tickets for Ep 2 with hardly a line.

Kind of a shame, really.

Alien 3 was really a good flick. If you don't believe so, you will hopefully die a thousand horrible deaths.

Aliens3--good psychological horror/creature film. Bad sequel to Aliens.

Regardless of what anyone says, I wanted to see a full-scale alien war on earth with the surviving characters from Aliens returning (all of them). I didn't want a cramped thriller set in a mostly abandoned prison colony.

But regardless, I have no qualms with the film itself. It was very well made. I simply did not like where they took the story.

 

They could have made lots of cash if they'd given the fanboys what they thought they wanted...

Yeah, I was looking forward to all-out Alien/Human war too...was even yanked in by a survey company to view an Alien3 trailer and then give them feedback about it.

 

Yup, James showed me the original Alien3 teaser and it was going to be a war on earth thing. Too bad it didn't happen.

 

May still happen, as I heard the Aliens/Predator movie is still being tossed around....
