Amph Diadem

I don't know if anyone here has read the Diadem "series" (it lasted only 6 books!), but I thought I'd give it a shot and post it due to the number of Animorph fans. Like Animorphs, Diadem was published by Scholastic. It was written by John Peel, and unfortunately it has been so long that I don't remember much more than that. Just that I loved the books, and was very saddened by the abrupt ending it had.

I read at least one of the books, but my library never picked up the other ones as far as I remember. Too bad. I really wanted to see what happened with the rest of the series. I very distinctly remember the introduction of the kid from Earth, outdoing the con man without realizing it. Every time he tried to follow the queen, he could do it. Of course, it turned out he was accidentally turning all the cards into queens. Good trick.
