When you finish Goblet of Fire, if you want more background info you could try Beacham's Sourcebooks for Teaching Young Adult Fiction: Exploring Harry Potter by Elizabeth D Schafer. It's not actually approved by J.K. Rowling, but extrememly interesting nonetheless. There's a lot of information about everything you could possibly imagine concerning the series. One of my friends took a Children's Literature class this semester and focused her project on Harry Potter and this was the book her teacher recommended. I enjoyed it.

I can't wait for the movie also. I've read the books over and over and I'm beginning to go through withdrawal. I want the new book already!!!

Thanks mucho Spewwy. I'm about to be an elementary teacher. That book could be invaluable for me.

I thought you might like that because I was almost certain I'd read that you were going to be a teacher. =)

Thanks alot. I'm glad you remembered that. Yet another book I have to pick up (I've bought like 10 books in the last two weeks).

I need to do that. Everytime I go into a bookstore my mind goes blank and I forget all the books I want to get. Do you have any suggestions for anything while I wait for the 5th book?

I decided to read the Harry Potter series this summer. I'm on the 3rd year and love every word of it. What a great series of books. I can't wait for the movie and book #5! :)

I started reading them a couple of weeks ago and I'm year 4 right now. Just started today.

I love the books. I even have a Harry Potter pillow and my son has a poster in his room.

I tried the every flavor beans and they were good. $5 for a little bag, but the popcorn flavored ones were worth it. But what sucked is that about a fourth of mine were horse raddish flavored. I gave them to my mom.

I was thinking about this as I read Goblet last night...

If all of these magic-users really existed in the world, and they didn't interact with Muggles (as in the stories), then I would guess that the global population would be much higher than any of us Muggles could ever dream...

Am I taking this stuff too seriously now? ;)

No you aren't, we magic users.. uh....

    Obliviate!

Blimey! I think I just hacked off my computer!

I'm already pretty impressed by Goblet. I have found myself LOL'ing and I'm only like 5 chapters into it.

Well, with the start in the Riddle Manor, I loved the dark twist. Very much looking forward to finishing this one. I can't believe how fast they read too. I mean I started two days ago (reading for about a half hour to an hour a day) and I'm already a decent chunk in.

Could you pass the Every Flavor Beans, please :D

I ended up reading the last one in a day.... missed a wedding reception but it was worth it.

Why are you looking at me like that?
