    Here

You can choose your Hogwarts name, be sorted into a house, choose a wand, practice Quidditch, read the Daily Prophet, walk down Diagon Alley and try and the Bertie Bott's Beans. ITs a great site, plus all the dirt on the movie (at the Daily Prophet)

Heh, you even take the Hogwarts Express into the site. Tremendously designed.

I got the second two in hardback. Actually I read the first book and as soon as I finished it went to the store and bought the rest.

A friend who hasn't read them said he wanted to get the first one as a first edition. He looked it up at ebay and found a first edition Sorcerer's Stone going for 38,000 dollars (US)

I won't go into details cause others haven't finished Goblet yet, but man what an ending. Certainly is a great setup ending.

I really am looking forward to seeing a House Elf on screen eventually. They just sound so cool to me.

WOW! Thanks Kessel Runner for creating this thread! I love the Harry Potter books!
I am somewhat skeptical about how the film will turn out but we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm going to go see getting a wand!

Oh Master but you must read them! They are great adventures of the wizard Harry Potter, the only one to survive an attack by He Who Shall Not Be Named! ;)

I got sorted into Hufflepuff! And my wand is a Dragon Heartstring Cedar 13in!!! I love dragons!

Edit: You can send Howlers! lol!

Happily Merrily Birthday to Mr. Potter! If you go by the timeline Rowling sets up in her book, Harry is 21 today! Yippee!

And, if you go here!, you can send him a birthday card!

Woo-hoo! I am an official Potterhead, I have all four books in hardback. My brother introduced me to Harry over Christmas, when he was reading Goblet of Fire and finished it within about three days. Thanks for the link to the official site--can't wait to see which house I get sorted into.

I started reading Goblet when I started this thread, and I finished it today. So I guess it took me around 5 days.

    You're welcome for the thread.

I was thrilled to get a wand with Phoenix Feather and Redwood. I love redwood (being a Northern Californian and all). I'm in Gryffindor.

Say his name! It removes the power that the name holds. Tom Riddle! ;)

    Tom Riddle?

Man I'm only half way through Goblet. Can't wait to finish it!
I want to get my hands on the other books too!

The ending of Goblet blew my mind. Such magnificent plot twists and deep emotion. I'm not ashamed to say my eyes got misty.

I kinda have to set GoF aside for now until I finish the new NJO book that came out today. I'll finish this weekend I think. I got my grandma hooked on the books and she's loving them.

    I suck. I'm a disgrace to Potterheads everywhere. I couldn't get past 12.

I cried when uh, you-know-who, not Voldemort, uh, you-know-whatted. First, it was just a whimper. Then a sniffle. then full-blown bawling.

I wore my Hogwarts T-shirt today for his birthday!
