And I think they're missing one... "the gleam of triumph" in Dumbledore's eye when Harry says Voldemort used his blood, that quickly disappears and leaves Harry doubting what he saw.

 

Yeah, the books are incredibly well thought out and planned. There's a lot in them for folks who read through them multiple times.

 

I am on my.... 31st time reading them? that sounds right.

 

Wow, that's impressive. I've only been through them twice.

 

But that was coming from a person who is a, for no use of better words, Historian of Harry Potter. But I don't count cursed child, That was not very good.

 

I don't think FBAWTFT will be good

 

It was okay, not great. But if you're that into HP, I don't really understand why you wouldn't see it, even if it's just for completions sake.

 

Any Potter historians should certainly see Fantastic Beasts. Of the films I think I enjoyed it the most.

 

I am a European Historian...except that whole Roman Empire thing, looked a bit boring!

 

I will, I just did not get the chance to see it yet.

 

Those boring roman emperors with the boring hats and boring epaulettes.

 

Rome was so minor and without much impact, studying it is really only for the completionist historians anyway.

 

I may be starting a Harry Potter RPG in these boards, Not 100% Positive it will happen, But if anyone is interested, Let me know.

 

I'm surprised the 2nd Fantastic Beasts isn't shooting already, you'd figure Warner Brothers would want this franchise machine churning out at the speed of the previous Potter installments.

I do think it would be interesting if at some point we see WWII and the magic worlds collide, even some muggle / nomag heavy artillery vs magic. Dumbledore defeated Gindelwald in 1945 and I kind of doubt that WWII is just sort a thing that happened to occur at the same time, it seems likely the two events were intertwined.
