Dialogue of AOTC, good or bad?

    Like all other SW movies, it's a combination of good and bad dialogue.

    Let's hear you write a more amusing Jedi mindtrick then, Tokyo :)
    The audience I saw the film with certainly loved the line.

    I decided to bump this up after seeing the film again yesterday. There was one line in the fireplace scene that just left me scratching my head in puzzlement.

    Padme says, "We would be living a lie, one that we couldn't keep even if we tried."

    How does one "keep" a "lie"?

    does of course refer
    to the secret.
    If they keep their affair
    a secret they would be
    living a lie.
    The way it is said is of
    course wrong but then
    again who´s to say
    that a senator
    can´t have a
    slip of the
    tounge!
    Just look at Jar Jar and
    his "dellow felegates"!
    "My tounge... it´s stuck..."
