Did Anakin Feel Any Guilt Over the Destruction of Alderaan?

    My simple answer is no

    Not because he was amoral or "evil" by any means at all, but simply because he didn't have anything to live for anymore but the dark side. ANH was Vader at his lowest slump. He was beyond broken at that point, and I believe a good deal of EU portrayed him as suicidal at times. He simply didn't care about anything at that point in his life, and I reasonably believe that he just shut a lot of things out, as he didn't want to deal with any more pain. It wasn't until he found out about Luke that he took a trip onto the emotional roller coaster once more
