I've played the violin since I was in 3rd grade though I stopped once I graduated from high school. I probably suck at it now.

Some clarinet, some piano. I'm determined to get back to the piano someday. But mostly voice, which I studied for about 12 years.

cello and piano. has anyone ever played any JW music in an orchestra? our music teacher is quite a fan of JW and has made us play the soundtracks for ET, Jurassic Park and Star Wars for the past few years.

I play turntables, self taught drums and self taught keys..meaning I can kinda bang out a drum beat and pluck out a melody. but I can cut a record up like nobodies business..;) I used to play trumpet, too..

So it's not an "Instrument" instrument..

I've played the piano for 11 years, the clarinet for 10. I taught myself the recorder and the bassoon, and I learned the organ for good measure. I just learned how the play the krumhorn last year, and I pretend to play the violin.

My junior high school band director had us play a medley of John Williams songs. It was wonderful. ;)

Crum horn? Do you have a recreated model, or an authentic. My wife is a profesional Trombonist.

Well, considering the krumhorn (crumhorn? krumehorn? crumehorne?) was a medieval instrument, it would be pretty tricky to get an authentic instrument, so it's a re-creation of sorts. I'm borrowing it from my university's large collection of instruments; getting my own would be far above what I could ever afford. ;)

I once played a medley of some of JW's work in my high school band. It was pretty cool. The arrangement was a bit childish, though.

However, we did play the end credits to Far and Away. Now that was a lot of fun. I listned to the actual track on napster, and the arrangement we played was almost identical.

Unfortunetly, we were never able to get the third section up to the right speed. =(

I play the viola (started a little over a year ago) and I just recently quit the flute, which I had been playing for five years. I do not recommend that horrible instrument! If anyone ever wants to chat about classical music/instruments/music-related topics, just send me a message! I'm always bored.
