JCC Did Anyone Ever Find Out?

There are some questions we nurse for a long time, and then lose relevance before they get answered. From time to time, I think of them, and wonder how they ended up. Indulge me, JCC, and add your own.

There was a show called "The Event." It got cancelled. Before this, there was a long advertising campaign with clips of spectacular scenes from the show, along with the tag line "this is not the event." Or "this still isn't the event," Fine. Did anyone ever find out what the event was? Did it get cancelled before it ever reached that point?

 

It was an alien invasion or something.

 

Every morning I have an Event.

 

I'm assuming the actual purpose behind your question is to make sure the fuzz aren't hot on your tail and that those bodies are still disappeared.

The event was the disappearance of all known beds causing everyone to sleep on the floor.

 

Yes, the aliens who were here were divided into two camps, for the most part: those who wanted to bring their dying species to Earth (which would essentially wipe out most of humanity since both couldn't live on the world due to overpopulation at the same time) and those who assimilated and started inter-breeding to save both species.

The ending (a cliffhanger) was essentially they were building a teleporter / wormhole gateway to bring their species to EArth... but it wasn't people. It was the whole planet which showed up in Earth's atmosphere and Michelle Obama was revealed as an alien said to Malia (a half-breed child with her human husband) "It's home..."

 

So did we find out what the next event is?

I hope we find out if Pam and Jim end up getting together.
