It might have been cool to see a bit more of the duel, and for Drallig to actually pose a challenge.

    Other than that, nah.

It would have been cool even if it was just an extra 30 seconds of the duel seen as nick gillard played him the duel could have had a better feel instead of anakin kills jedi number one anakin kills jedi number 2 etc etc it showed absolutely no challenge between the two

Yeah, isn't Anakin choking some kid while dueling Drallig one handed? Pretty weak.

We really don't get to see much of the action during the raid on the Temple. A couple of flashes, mostly clones shooting Jedi, Anakin igniting his lightsaber on the kiddies, etc.

I'm sure they felt they had to keep the run time down, but I would have loved to see more.

I would have loved an extended edition for home versions. Uh, is there one? I have no idea, I'll have to check my DVD. I've never even watched the deleted scenes.

Cin Drallig was the Jedi Temple's lightsaber instructor, conveniently played by Nick Gillard, who was in charge of coordinating the lightsaber fights in the prequels.

I think this would have been cool, but maybe best left as a deleted scene or something. Things like this can definitely make the run time a bit too long, as well as mainstream audiences sitting confused about who Cin Drallig is and why he is on screen for so long.

They only showed a quick clip as a hologram that Obi-Wan and Yoda view, so the fight was obviously longer, but for the purpose it served in the film, we couldn't have been shown more.

Though for the short time the character appeared, I've always been in favor of Gillard's work, and he totally deserved a cameo (since he's playing a Jedi, he obviously knows what he's doing). The character design was awesome, too (though Lucas denied him his yellow saber, even for his few seconds of screen time). It's cool how they had this big backstory planned for such a minor character; it just leaves the fans more curious. Though at least the video game give us more to go by.

Honestly, they could have put Gillard in other roles in the movie, and I wouldn't mind. Just think, if he was playing Saesee Tiin or any of the other Jedi who forgot how to fight.

Show Anakin dueling Drallig and leave out the younglings scene. Problem solved.

It would've been a nice gesture to Nick... but other than that, prolly not.

Maul was feral enough to do something like that, but not Anakin.

Would rather see those two duel while stepping around the bodies of said younglings.

Maybe I'm just in a Halloween mood but for some reason I could see that.

It's dark Anakin dueling an adult Jedi who isn't Obi-Wan.

I know this was answered already, but there aren't really any clear pics of him in the thread yet.
Once you've seen a pic, you're sure to recognize him. The character is actually named after the actor, after a fashion.

    Nick wanted a yellow lightsaber?
He is now my favorite person in the galaxy.

He did - however GL forbade it, stating that only Mace could have a customized color... everyone else had to have blue or green.

Actually, IIRC, Filoni kinda snuck those in. He saved his own @$$ by not making them true yellow, but more of an off-yellow.

It's quite possible those aren't lightsabers that cut but more like lightsabers that club ala the lightsaber nightsticks the cops have in Futurama.

I would've loved to see Anakin dueling Cin Dralling. This guy taught all Jedis how to fight!! This duel could've been ******* awesome!! What a waste!
