Seriously, it was pretty awesome looking at the Japanese-exclusive art of some of the EU covers. The entirity of NJO's covers looked awesome, the New Essential Chronology cover was a great way to bring the two eras together, and the Dark Nest covers could actually fool people into thinking they were good books.

Was waiting to see covers for Legacy of the Force, or Fate of the Jedi. Or Darth Plagueis or other recent novels. What happened? Did the release of the Essential Guides give Western artists a monopoly on drawing EU characters?
