ST Did Kylo Ren want to kill Rey?

Well, it’ll be intriguing to discover if we’re going to get a time jump this time.
I can’t see them doing it tbh though. After the direct follow on from VII to VIII, a time jump to IX would
feel very odd imo.
The Resistance really were on strung out shape in a huge way.
Having XI’s crawl going something like this

Time has passed since the Battle of Crait..
Thanks to Luke Skywalker’s heroic sacrifice
The remaining band of Resistance fighters were
able to escape and fled to the Outer Rim etc..

Would feel very disconnected. Maybe that’s just me?

 

That is a good line. He did cross the lines long ago killing off Luke's students and what's his name played by Max Von Sydow so far that we have seen. But with Rey there is a model student/partner. Those are hard to come by.

 

He was just having a little temper tantrum. Boys will be boys after all. No way he meant it. Don’t worry. Rey will come to her senses and ask Kylo for forgiveness for wronging him.

 

TBH...in that scene near the the end of the movie where they saw each other, neither of them really seemed angry with the other.
Rather, they both looked very disappointed in each other...though Rey did close the Falcon ramp on him.

 

I thought Rey looked like she was disappointed, but also totally over his shenanigans.

He looked sad. Both because she rebuffed him and because Luke just embarrassed him.

 

That’s how he felt in that moment. But I’d say he still has a soft spot for Rey.

 

But does she for him? She tried and failed to turn him. The Darkside and his ambition to rule took precedence. Her plea fell on deaf ears. He’s gone
