Did Luke exhibit force talents as a child like Anakin?

Hi I was just wondering what some of you thought in regards to Luke's power in the force compared to Vader's specifically in the years that they were children. It seems that the SW saga puts a lot of emphasis on Anakin's immense power..which he exemplified at an early age with the Pod races and such...this could also be seen with other Jedi specifically in The Clone wars show in the Holocron Heist arc where toddlers were even moving objects with their minds...it seems that Luke didn't really have force talents visible until he met Obi Wan..in which he seemed to "tap" into the force and pick up on it quickly..am I wrong? Did Luke have force talents at an early age? does the EU expand on this? sometimes I wonder if the reason why Luke didn't exemplify force talents at an early age and Anakin and other Jedi in the prequel era did is just another story inconsistency between the prequels and the original trilogy because when the OT came out the concept of midichlorians was absent..what do you think?

 

In the EU at one point it was mentioned that he used the Force to find something that Owen or Beru had lost and Owen told him off for it.
Probably used the Force whiling piloting.

 

The suggestion of hyper reflexes and high piloting skills are shared by father and son as are being able to locate or draw other Sensitives.

 

I believe there was an EU novel about Obi-Wan watching over Luke (it was before Kenobi was written) and he mentioned seeing baby Luke reach for a ball and move it without touching it

Luke did exhibit several jedi like traits similar to Anakin

good pilot, can anticipate things before they happen, he was a good shot...
