Did Padme date others?

did padme have realtionships with other guys in the tn years between tpm and atoc?just because anakin thought of her didnt mean she did the same?

 

I really have no idea. I haven't see anything anywhere about her having relationships with other men. Though, that doesn't mean she didn't. /shrug

 

Maybe, maybe not. Either way I'd say she was pretty up tight

 

We know she did before TPM. As for what your asking...who knows

 

It's doubtful, but possible. She's a very busy politician and ambassador between that time.

Exactly, how can a 12 y-o girl date at all?

For me it sounded more like a school crush, especially if what's-his-name was an older boy.

 

Well, that's the whole point. Twelve year olds don't seriously date as adults know it - but kids in fifth/sixth grade do have little crushes and have their version of boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. (Although, Palo is a few years older than her, she mentions. It's all very innocent, and it's supposed to give Padme a kind of "china doll" aura, like she's very new and inexperienced when it comes to real, passionate love. Anakin is a foreign animal to her, in that regards. She isn't prepared to handle his honesty and persistance, and he winds up skirting by all of her defense mechanisms to reach her heart because of it.

Something else to keep in mind, if this is a planet where a 14 year old girl is queen, we might be talking about a civlization where children mature much faster, or are educated enough where they handle responsibility at a much younger age.

 

From most articles and discussion I've followed, Padme was simply too preoccupied with public service to focus on personal relationships. Two terms as Queen, then immediatley going into the senate. I think she never took a break until her hiding out on Naboo with Anakin.

 

She had another boyfriend, but he was disloyal.
