Did Sidious kill Padme?

    Did Sidious kill Padme? It would make sense. That way, he would ensure Anakin's turn to the dark side.

    No, Anakin killed Padmé.
    Quite ironic really. He turns to the dark side in order to save her but that is in fact what kills her.
    Happens a lot in Greek dramas. Destinies are fulfilled in the attempt to escape them.
