PT Did the CGI get a downgrade in Attack of The Clones?

    If you compare how Jar Jar looked in Phantom and how he looked in Clones, you'll notice he doesn't look as realistic as he did in the previous movie.

    Did ILM chose quantity over quality. I know they had to redo the Arena scean and that set them back (seance is still awesome though?) I'm trying to find an objective answer for why this is, but all I can find a google are the whiny fanboy complaints.

    Can anyone give me some information as to why this might be?

    The movie was filmed on a digital camera, so the whole cinematographic process was different.
