Did "the Living Force" come from the EU?

...well, did it?

Has the Living/Unifying Force appeared in EU at all?

Just curious...

 

As far as I know, no, it hasnt. But I will be the first to admit that I dont know much...




Im pretty certain that TPM was the first mention of the living and unifying Force.

 

EU based off TPM has used it. The first Tales story with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan made mention of it, IIRC.

 

I think Jude Watson might have addressed it somewhere in her first 5 or so Jedi Apprentice books.

There's also a nice Making of Episode One The Phantom Menace (I don't recall the exact title) - both in hard cover and soft cover formats - that discusses the Living Force in further detail.

For the life of me, I can't remember if Wizards of the Coast "The Living Force Campaign" as well as the Wizards of the Coast website discusses "The Living Force." Go figure!

 

NJO makes referances to the Living Force.

 

I heard that there was something in a Timothy Zahn book about an aura that Jedi can see to do with "the living Force", that ysalimari mask or something...

(I don't read the books, but I'm just curious.)

 

Im out of it myself butim not quite sure that NJO discusses it

 

Isn't there a reference to it in CoPL?
